Blended Classrooms
Offered in seven Marin County public schools, the Blended Classroom program provides school-based, one-on-one counseling for students who are at risk of being placed in more restrictive, specialized educational settings. This program utilizes a team of special education teachers and therapists to help students learn to control their behaviors while facilitating academic progress. The goal of the Blended Classroom program is to mainstream students into classrooms for the general student population at their public school. The Marin County Departments of Education and Mental Health collaborate with Sunny Hills Services on this program.
